If achieving design and construction of this $5.2m project in 70 days wasn’t difficult enough, then throw in obtaining Resource Consent and construction during the Christmas break as well!

Located in the heart of WelTec’s Petone campus, the Hub provides new student focused information and learning support services around a sun drenched atrium and café space.

DSA accepted the challenge to deliver this demanding building project. A team of expert consultants and builders was established on day one. A delivery strategy that maintained total transparency and client input was formulated and monitored constantly throughout all stages of the project

Statutory building requirements had to be met and WelTec operations could not be compromised. Above all else a stunning design solution was expected …. and delivered, achieving savings in excess of 10% of the approved project budget.

Students immediately embraced this new facility as their own. WelTec commissioned an independent report on the delivery of this project. It concluded that the completed result is an outstanding success.
